On July 5, 2020, the Shiyan 6-02 satellite was launched by a Long March 2-D carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Launch Center of China.
Shiyan 6-02 aims at environmental studies in space and related technical experiments. It is developed by the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The launch on July 5th is the third launch mission of IAMC during the year 2020.
So far, the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites of Chinese Academy of Sciences has launched 30 missions and the total amount of satellites is 56.
